Here I will discuss two styles of eating that both have created massive results for a particular client of mine.
This particular client I am so thrilled about because he not just changed his body, he changed his life… he is CRUSHING it right now….
He is inspiring me to help others with the same diet and health advice.
See… Since my buddy Jack (my Roomate in rehab from 12 years ago) died of cancer… I’ve been personally obsessed with getting healthy, getting ready for a fight, and looking amazing naked (and performing even better.)
I had the privilege of watching my clients transform financially, emotionally, physically, spiritually, within their relationships… It truly is a beautiful thing to witness others lives change.
Anyhow, here are some general principles that all of you can easily apply to lose fat, gain muscle, increase performance DRAMATICALLY, improve emotional stability dramatically, etc etc.
Step 1: Set a physique goal along with bodyfat goals and weight goals. Pick a picture of what you want to look like, pick a goal of what you want to be able to do with that body, and how you want to feel in that body. This will set your focus on what you want.
Step 2: We need to eat only a certain number of foods. There are certain foods that will make you feel great when you eat them. Everything else practically, will detract from your performance.
Step 3: Plan out your fitness plan that is riveting and exciting. Choose something that Is FUN to do… do you want to learn MMA? How about water polo? Soccer? Basketball? Set up time to do these physical activities every day… supplemental resistance training, yoga, sauna, cold showers, running, or swimming should be added afterwards… the sports are more fun and will cause you to get in shape while having a lot of fun.
Step 4: Add in some fasting days… Use a stimulant and workout or run on an empty stomach in the morning… These fasting days where you don’t eat till 5PM-7PM you will have low insulin levels all day and will be primarily burning fat.
Step 5: Drink lots of filtered water… 6Liters minimum daily. The more water you drink, the faster you’ll lose fat.
Here are the foods you should build your diet around. Buy all of them at trader joes.
Proteins: Grass Fed Beef or Wild Caught Salmon (Deboned)
Fats: Ghee, Grass fed butter, Almonds/Cashews, Caprylitic Acid (Brain Octane Oil)
Carbs: Lots of organic veggies… I buy them frozen.
Snacks: Quest Bars, Frozen Berries Organic, Apples, Bananas, Mangos… Limit the sweet shit to 1-2 servings per day.
My Current Diet:
1LB Grass Fed Beef Daily
1LB spinach/Broccoli daily
6 Eggs Daily
6-8L filtered water with organic lemon juice
2-3 sweet potatoes with 1/2 tablespoon of almond butter
Supplements: Vitamins/minerals mostly iodine mostly health related. Amino Energy.
My Training For Last month:
Run 5-10 miles daily for past 2 months
Boxing training 3-4 hours a day
My upcoming training:
Run 5 miles daily + hill sprints session every 3 days and small sprints daily
Swimming in morning
Muay Thai training 1 intense class per day
My training after that:
BJJ/Combat sambo based training
I always switch up the training to keep it interesting as long as I keep progressing.
I may be taking on 1-2 more serious guys who want to change their lives… only guys who are ready to step up and put in the kind of work necessary to make the big changes.
