Faith Is a keystone in your kingdom of success.
Most people have far too much faith in the idea that ‘Everything Will Be Okay.’
They have this dream that one day they will be millionaires, have a perfect relationship, never get ill, die when they are 100 surrounded by loving family and friends. Write the great American novel, be on TV etc etc etc.
The fact of the matter is, most people fail to achieve their dreams and goals.
They don’t even get remotely close to their goals. Not even close.
They reverse rationalize why the failed to lie to themselves.
To me? The most repulsive thing, and frightening thing to see in a person is stagnation.
People who have the same dead end job, are always broke, always overweight, or skinny, never persuing a new goal, never growing, never challenging themselves… They frighten me.
I never would want to be like that.
I am always petrified, of failing. Of not achieving enough. Being significant enough. Being contributive enough.
I have recently learned how to appreciate, and gain perspective of where I am at in life.
However, the core of who I am… is rationally paranoid about not doing enough… I take action.
I make a shitload of mistakes.
I have learned by trial and error.
I learned to read strategies so I can minimize those mistakes and make better decisions.
But the difference between me, and many, many others is that I actually move myself to action.
Perhaps that is due to the low threshold for pain, perhaps that is due to the way I was raised.
I don’t know. I don’t care.
All I know, is that action. Massive action. Focusing on what you want. The solutions. Moving towards them HARD. Every day.
Less sleep. More reading. More training. More action. More calls. More. More. MORE.
That is how it happens. It doesn’t happen by meditation. It doesn’t happen by wishful thinking.
It comes from having the balls, or chutzpah… to take risks and make decisions.
